Welcome to Pics by Sami Joy! I’m Samantha Reed and I specialize in sports, senior, and portrait photography throughout Southern California. If you had told me a year ago that I would have a photography business, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. I picked up a camera in August 2025 for yearbook and thought it would just be something fun to do. Instead, I quickly fell in love with it and discovered I had an eye for capturing moments. In less than a year, I’ve gone from photographing my school’s football games to senior sessions, sporting events, and clients throughout Southern California. Photography has become one of my favorite ways to tell people’s stories, and I’m grateful that I get to do it every day.

This is the fun part! Whether we’re on a football field, downtown, or at your favorite spot, my goal is to make your session feel relaxed and enjoyable.

Photo delivery
After your session, I’ll carefully edit your images and deliver them through an online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints.
